Payvo is a software platform built for businesses to manage client installment contracts, payments, and receipts. The platform is owned and operated by Nura Mustapha Technologies Limited (RC 9679645).

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it when you use the Payvo application.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account credentials — Your username and password (used only for authentication; passwords are never stored in plain text).
• Business data you enter — Client names, contract details, payment records, and item (asset) information entered through the app. This data is sent to and stored on the Payvo business server.
• Registration information — Company name, address, email, and phone number when registering a business.
• WhatsApp Integration Data — Instance names, connection statuses, session keys, and phone numbers when your business integrates a WhatsApp instance to automate messaging and reminders.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not sell any personal data to third parties.
• We do not use advertising networks or tracking pixels.

How We Use Your Data

Data collected through the Payvo app is used exclusively to:

• Authenticate you as an authorized user of the Payvo platform.
• Display and manage business records (clients, contracts, payments, receipts).
• Generate and view receipts for completed transactions.
• Send automated payment receipts, contract updates, and overdue installment reminders to clients via email and integrated WhatsApp communication channels.
• Maintain the security and integrity of your session.

Data Security

• All communication between the app and server is encrypted using HTTPS / TLS.
• The server enforces role-based access control — each user can only see data they are authorized to access.

Data Retention

Business records (contracts, payments, receipts) are retained on the Payvo server for as long as the associated business account is active.

Your Rights

As a user, you have the right to:

• Know what personal data is stored about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account data by contacting your administrator.
